Dot & Lil's best-selling milk bath has luxuriously moisturizing whole milk powder, with ground oatmeal and baking soda to soften the water and your skin. This super-rich and soothing formula turns the bath water milky, white and opaque and gives you a Cleopatra-like bathing experience. Leaves skin sweetly scented and soft.

After months of hard work to get it just right we are proud to introduce Peony & Olive Leaf, a blend of soft pink petals and elegant musk with lush fruit top notes. Q: How can I become a retailer?

A: Let's get you set up as a Dot & Lil Retailer! To see wholesale pricing and to place an order, register here.

We will approve your request or ask for additional information as soon as we can, usually right away but with a maximum of 2 business days. You will then be able to log in, see prices and place orders.

Q: How does ordering work?

A: Creating an account only takes a few seconds, click here and we will get you all set up. Once approved, use your email address to log in, enter your information, shop respecting the $150 minimum order and the minimums per SKU. Don’t forget to add testers! Pay online, and we will take care of the rest.

 

Q: Is there a minimum wholesale order?

A: Yes. Minimum wholesale order is only $150. Minimums per SKU are extremely low (never more than 6). And we have no case pack amounts that you are limited to. You must be approved as a retailer  to see our wholesale pricing and place orders. 

 

Q: Where can I find the minimums per SKU?

A: They are enforced automatically by the cart, and also listed in each product description.

 

Q: How does shipping work?

A: Canadian orders ship from our atelier in MontréalUSA Orders ship from our warehouse in Champlain, New York 12919 USA. You may also select Local Pickup, and we will let you know when your order is ready at our Montréal atelier. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND NO LONGER HAVE A SHOWROOM AT THIS LOCATION. 

 

Q: When will my order ship?

A: Orders ship within 5-7 business days after order confirmation. If you prefer a future ship date just let us know.

 Q: What are the best sellers?

A: In the Dot & Lil line the best selling products are the bottled bath milks, bath milk sachets, and bar soaps. Best selling fragrances across categories are Rice Flower, Peony & Olive Leaf, and Lavender. The teacup candles and bar soaps are also strong sellers. In the Clark & James line, the best selling products are the rope soaps and the best-selling fragrance is Gin. 

 

Q: Do you provide display samples of your products? 

A: Yes! Display samples are highly recommended as they allow clients to touch, feel and smell the products. They are available at 50% off wholesale cost and are full-sized products marked with a 'tester' sticker. You can add display testers directly to your cart, they have the same SKU with the prefix ‘’dt’’, and are listed as a product variant in a drop-down menu on each product page. Maximum of ONE display tester per SKU per order. We do not sell display testers without the product. 

 

Q: Do you have a sales representative who can come see me in my area?

A: Yes! We work with three wonderful agencies :

Q: Can we visit you at a USA trade show?

A: We exhibit twice a year at trade events in Las Vegas and Atlanta. If you are an existing retailer or have requested wholesale information from us, you will receive an invitation to these events with showroom information. Q: Can I have exclusivity in my area/zip code/city/state?

A: We do not ever grant specific exclusivity, but we are very respectful of our retailers and we will always be sensitive to not opening accounts too close together. If ever we are unsure, we will always check in with you. If you have any specific concerns please let us know at orders@dotandlil.com.

 

Q: Are Dot & Lil products natural?

A: All of our base formulas are natural. We choose to use both natural fragrances (essential oils) and synthetic fragrances (fragrance oils). We use essential oils when available (like lavender, bergamot, eucalyptus & lime, and more), but some of our favorite fragrances (like honeysuckle for example) aren't available in any safe natural form, so we use super-high-quality body-safe fragrance oils to fill out our selection of amazing scents.

If you prefer to avoid our products that contain synthetic fragrances, just check the ingredient list on the product itself or on the product page. It will always indicate what we used. If it contains essential oil, it will indicate ‘’essential oil’’, if we use synthetic fragrances, it will indicate ‘’parfum'’ or '’fragrance oil’’.

Additionally, our products are almost all anhydrous, meaning they contain no water - this allows us to safely formulate them without a synthetic preservative. If you have specific concerns about a product or ingredient just email us at orders@dotandlil.com and we will be happy to advise you! We love chatting about skincare ingredients.

 

Q: Are Dot & Lil products or the ingredients you use tested on animals?

A: Never!

 

Q: Are Dot & Lil products vegan? Do they contain any animal-based ingredients?

A: Almost all Dot & Lil products are vegan! The non-vegan ones are: bottled milk bath, sachets, cubes and bubble milks (they contain super moisturizing powdered cow's milk). We also choose not to use palm oil or animal oils. If you have specific concerns about a product or ingredient just email us at orders@dotandlil.com and we will be happy to advise you.

OUR INSPIRATION

Dot & Lil makes heirloom-inspired, finely crafted goods for bath, body & home. Our products are all made by hand in our Montréal atelier, and sold at fine retailers and wholesalers across the USA and Canada. The things we make are inspired by the universe of flowers and the beauty of tradition. We also design and make a classic line of unisex products for body and home, our Clark & James brand. 

OUR TEAM + ATELIER

Dot & Lil was founded in 2008 by Anne Dardick. Her bath addiction is the driving force behind Dot & Lil! We are now a happy team of 20 at the Dot & Lil atelier. Our atelier is located in Montréal, Québec but USA orders can also ship from our warehouse in Champlain, NY. 

Wholesale Policies

ACCOUNT OPENING

We require business information in order to open a wholesale account. We reserve the right to request additional information as needed. You can request a wholesale account here and we will get back to you in 1-2 business days.

MINIMUMS

Minimum wholesale order is $150, and you can combine our Dot & Lil and Clark & James lines to meet that minimum. No case packs, only a minimum per SKU which allows you to build your assortment however you wish.

DISPLAY TESTERS

Display testers help the customers see, smell and try the products, and they greatly increase the sell-through of the line! They are full sized products with a sweet ‘tester’ sticker and are available at 50% off wholesale cost, maximum of 1 tester per SKU per order. We do not allow ordering of testers without the product. Consult our order form or product pages for more details!

PAYMENT

We accept payment with all major credit cards, Paypal, Sezzle and ApplePay. Contact us to pay via cheque, direct deposit or other means. Payment is required before we can physically pack your order. To expedite the order process please provide all payment information when placing your order.

SHIPPING

We ship Canadian orders domestic from Montréal, Québec and USA orders ship domestic from Champlain, NY. All shipping information is here.

MSRP

Suggested retail for our line is 2X to 2.4X the wholesale cost at retailer discretion, depending on your location, shipping costs and customers. Most of our retailers use 2.2X the wholesale cost.

Damaged or lost packages

Please contact us promptly in the few days following the delivery of your package to report any damages or missing items. If you believe your package is lost or was delivered incorrectly, please try contacting the carrier for information, then reach out to us at orders@dotandlil.com if further assistance is needed. We will always credit, replace or refund any damaged or lost items if reported within a reasonable timeframe and pending any other issues. We apologize for the inconvenience, we know receiving things promptly and in good shape is crucial to your business! We do ask that you remain respectful, and aware of our limitations in avoiding some of these issues outside of our control.

Returns

All orders are final, and due to the nature of our products we do not accept returns. If you have any product quality or shipping concerns, please contact us at orders@dotandlil.com and we will be happy to help.

3RD PARTY RESELLERS

We do not authorize the resale of our line on 3rd party platforms such as Amazon or Ebay.
